google.dev is an online platform that allows you to advance your skills and knowledge related to Google's developer products. Your profile captures your achievements with badges and saves your progress as you complete pathways, which include codelabs and videos.
Currently, google.dev is in an open beta. Your feedback is critical in ironing out any issues before launching, so please share your thoughts by clicking Submit feedback at the top of any page.
What are badges?
Badges are achievements that you earn when you complete a learning activity, such as a codelab or quiz, or when you participate in Google Developer communities or events.
What are Favorite Badges?
You can select up to five of your earned badges to highlight at the top of your profile.
What are pathways?
Pathways are ordered collections of related content, such as videos and codelabs, which help you learn a specific developer tool or concept. Upon finishing a pathway, you can complete a quiz to earn a badge. Visit google.dev/pathways to get started.
Is my profile public?
Your developer profile is visible only to you. You can share the badges you earn on your social media accounts, such as Twitter and Facebook.
Where is my developer profile?
You can sign in and access your google.dev developer profile by going to google.dev/u/me.
How do I edit my profile?
When signed in, you can edit your profile by clicking My profile > Edit profile.
How much does it cost?
google.dev is free and open to anyone with a Gmail or Google-supported account.
I’m unable to create a profile with my G Suite account. Why is that?
Developer Profiles currently support @gmail.com and @googlemail.com accounts. This support will likely extend to include other Google accounts, such as G Suite Enterprise and G Suite for Education, in the near future.
In the meantime, please join the waitlist for information about when you can use a particular account.
How can I delete my account data?
When signed in, you can delete your account by clicking My profile > Edit profile > Delete profile.
Where should I file issues or feedback?
As a beta user, your feedback is critical in ironing out any remaining issues before launching. Please share your thoughts and suggestions by selecting Submit feedback at the top of any page.
