Get your proof ready
Before you apply, you’ll need proof of educational credentials (such as a faculty or student ID card) and documentation of your government ID.
Check eligibility requirements
Benefits for students and faculty are only available in certain countries. Registration is not available for other countries and institutions at this time.
What’s included?
Qwiklabs
Students and faculty are eligible to receive 200 Qwiklabs credits through this process. Credits can be used on any lab in the Google Cloud catalog.
Application process

Get your materials ready.
You will be asked to submit proof of their education credentials (such as a faculty or student ID card) and documentation of your government ID. -
Choose a Google account (school or personal).
You can sign up using a school-issued Google account or a personal Gmail account. Before choosing your school account, you should confirm that your institution has enabled access to Google Cloud Platform. -
Complete sign-up form.
Once you’re signed in, you will land on google.dev/edu/verify. You will need to complete the verification form. -
Confirm your school-issued email address.
You will receive an email at the school-issued email address you submit in the form. Please click on the link in this email to verify that you have access to a valid school account. -
Confirm your phone number with a code.
You will receive a text message at the phone number you submit in the form. You will need to enter the code you receive in this message on the SMS verification page. -
Take a photo of your school-issued and government issued IDs side by side and upload photo.
Submit your school ID with your name, school, and proof of enrollment (or employment) in the current academic year. Example of government-issued IDs include valid driver’s license, identity card, or passport. -
Once approved, you’ll get access to a dashboard of benefits to automatically redeem.
Redeem the benefits as needed. Credits have an expiration date, so you should claim benefits when you’re ready to use them. -
You only need to complete one application every 12 months to access all benefits.
Ensure to complete a new application once the 12 months are up. We’ll send a reminder when your verification is expiring.
